Some of us will visit a elderly home this weekend(31/1,Sat)afternoon. We want to bring joy and care to them because of the chinese new year. You are so welcomed because your help is important to us. Introduction of Government Department: The Eduaction Bureau



Education Bureau

The Bureau is responsible for:



formulating, developing and reviewing policies, programmes and legislation in respect of education from pre-primary to tertiary level; and


overseeing the effective implementation of educational programmes.

The Bureau monitors the services provided by:


the University Grants Committee, the Student Financial Assistance Agency, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications and the Vocational Training Council.

About SAHTC

Our Service


Hong Kong Christian Service South Asian Happy Teens Club (SAHTC) funded by the Fu Tak Iam Foundation Limited is a specialized project aiming at providing service for South Asian youngsters (6-24 years old) who live, study or work in New Territories West. SAHTC intends to offer holistic intervention and support for the nurturance of happy and healthy South Asian youngsters so that they can become contributive and socially integrated members of the society.

Our Logo


We use a Ferris Wheel as our logo because we think that the growth process of South Asian youngsters in Hong Kong is similar to the orbit of a Ferris Wheel, which is full of UPs and DOWNs.
